It is the end of the 1960s and a new business experience begins. It will become the Italian landmark for the Galletto.
Valle Spluga SpA began its journey at the end of the 1960s in Gordona, in northern Italy, nested in a valley surrounded by mountains with alpine air and fresh, pristine water.
During the ’70s the company began taking the first steps towards its affirmation as the national leading brand in the Galletto production.
It was in the 1980s that the Scudetto Rosso Vallespluga brand achieved notoriety, thanks to the heavy advertising that characterized this decade.
The ’90s were a period of technological innovation: from then on the Galletto started being associated with sports, thanks to its nutritional properties.
A leap forward with the introduction of phyto-purifiers and photovoltaics on the entire production chain, exclusively dedicated to the Galletto. The new hatchery in the picturesque hills of Piacenza is inaugurated.
Valle Spluga has carried out an expansion of the production plant in Gordona by expanding the areas dedicated to the processing of Galletto. It therefore obtained the prestigious BRC-IFS international quality certification, in addition to the HALAL certification, which are essential today for competing on the Italian market and for conquering foreign markets. In terms of image, the company has carried out an important brand restyling process, emphasizing its link with the territory, the Italian Alps, and with good food. The company has also returned to communication with large TV and digital campaigns on the main national platforms.
